If you mean current balance, that is credit data and can not be legally retrieved without the owners permission (which you can potentially get from them - ask nice ;-).

However, the lender won't discuss the loan with the one who isn't on the loan without written permission of the one who is actually on the loan.

I realize it's more bookkeeping, but in the long run at 400 properties seems like the odds would have been in their favor to liquidate one entity, with that financiers permission than to hand over all potential earnings.

When you do your showing or during the application process, collect a signature on an employment and landlord rental history verification form from applicant stating they grant you permission for them to release that information.

I am considering buying land to put up several unique structures, but need to first understand the process of obtaining the appropriate permissions, and site/ infrastructure planning & underwriting for the entire development.Anyone have experience with this?
