Bank Statements for prospective tenants
Is it legal to ask for bank statements for prospective tenants in NJ?

@Tristian Cox they only time I typically ask for bank statements is if someone is on disability, self employed, has a trust fund etc...I also ask for 2 years tax returns if they are self employed. If they are a W2, I ask for their most recent pay stubs, as well as checking with the employer if there is continued employment
