This of course makes no sense in Ontario where electricity rates are some of the highest in North America and destined for ever greater heights due to the Liberals' mismanagement of the electricity system allegedly under their 'green' initiatives.

To Note: I looked up the alleged victim and it appears they have a history of aberrant behavior and domestic battery charges/arrests themselves (prior to their relationship with the applicant); I'm wondering if this applicant was in fact the victim and not the other way around. 

Cameron, As a landlord, and in my experience, I believe all of these requests are a fairly good indication that she is going to be willing to stay in this unit for a long time.

@John Clark she also sought legal counsel from JAG (allegedly) and her exact response to me was “that is definitely fair.”

From there I would try to figure out a way to confirm what the reporting tenant is alleging and go have a conversation with the tenant in question and try to work something out with him leaving ASAP.

There are, however, statutory provisions that allow for the voiding of leases (in most states) where there is some allegation of domestic abuse/assault/cruelty.

Those are massive allegations with absolutely zero proof.
