PML's from main street and wall street are looking to deploy capital into real estate. 

This expat assignment has given me an excellent opportunity to earn and save money and I have begun looking at ways to better deploy that capital beyond just the stock market. 

There are quite a few timing considerations about when to invest into the fund and how quickly the fund must deploy capital.I hope that helps.

I would be curious to hear if other investors in Vegas took a different approach that's also lucrative.Not sure what a "small investment" means to you, but if you want to deploy a different strategy I wonder if there are different markets to pursue.

I have just recently deployed to Europe for 9 months.

It will employ 1200 people, deploy many more police to the street as well as have an impact on local business and drive rents and hopefully prop values.

And frankly, 8 days is not that long of a time to be away to merit hiring a PM.My preference would be the "email communication only" route, that way you can directly make decisions about whether or not to deploy the trades for a repair, and not burden your family member with relaying messages back and forth, or having to call for repair themselves.You could always just tell your tenants that you're phone has been glitchy lately, and you won't be able to get the issue resolved for at least another week, so to please contact you via email until further notice. 

Naturally, we've accrued our 20% of equity in the home to start, but very little beyond that, so we're trying to understand how we deploy cash idled right now to obtain a reasonable loan to move this project along... 

In general if you find a deal that is a great deployment of your capital now then jump.
