Meaning if 5 people want one house they all just bid the fixed price and then one is randomly chosen as the winner???

I have chosen the route of hiring good individuals on the inside and outside with a vision of a better bottom line when I get more properties, which I am confident will happen.

Despite that, an investment in the stock market (chosen at least halfway intelligently) seems like the better bet.  

Thus I'm turning my focus into these three specific cities: Wichita KS, Dallas and Austin.The main reason why I have chosen those three is that I have spent quite some time in these three area and have some knowledge and possible partners.

I have chosen to buy and hold as a main strategy.
