Not sure how I stumbled across this little gem of a thread, but here we are, a year and some months later, so I gotta know... how did this all end?

I am really glad I stumbled across this website.While Listening to Cameron Dunlaps Webinar I decided to research him a little.I am choosing not to join his program at this time for 1 reason.I would rather use the 1K to put as an earnest money deposit on a property.My avatar is a foreclosed property I purchased & am working on.

I've closed a few that I found on the MLS and do have a small network of people that call me if they stumble across something of interest, but I would like to see more leads on properties coming my way.Thank you in advance for your insight.

My name is Cory Delaney, and I began my Real Estate Investing education within the last month when I stumbled across the Bigger Pockets Podcast on iTunes. 

Having to pay rent on property that I'm not even living in is what prompted me to look into purchasing real estate, and as I started doing more and more research I eventually stumbled across this site.Currently, I've got about ~$18k saved up after working for about 5 months and have started looking at property listings on Realtor.com/Trulia/Zillow/etc. and have noticed that I'm basically in the running to put a down payment on a 2-3 bed/bath condo in Chicago, but any multi-unit properties are basically out of the question based on cost.  

If it wasn't for them, i would have never stumbled upon this thread.
