I don't know who said it but real estate is a get rich slow scheme.I was at a private conference and the speaker was coining the term " refi till you die"  I just cringed...

These particular groups don't focus on gurus and selling speakers, they are much more about the reality instead of the dream:Black Diamond:  I host these in Waltham and Worcester, no fees or memberships or selling speakers, the next Waltham meeting is Tuesday, url in my signatureNEREIA:  Conventional REIA with memberships but very few selling speakers, I can't even remember the last time they had a guru.

I have always admired the pro NLP speakers for digging into the way the mind works and creating a way to reprogram from it. 

I find that a traveling speaker is usually to blame for a push in an idea as they cross the US.

One member shaves his beard off, he goes before elders for the offense and another member speaks for him, that speaker is not an attorney nor must he be, the prosecution is not by a government entity in a recognized court of law. 

Maybe I should be more  specific.I know what equity is.But I seen some videos of youtube where the speaker insisted the importance of 90%+ equity is crucial.So that is why i asked the (general) question.

BP could line up a speaker or have a main topic where Pro members could flesh out ideas and bounce ideas off of each other.As a group we could probably come up with some powerful ideas that BP could then leverage or monetize (ebook, podcast, white papers, how to books...)I would be more then willing to share online marketing ideas with the Pro members and I'm with Michael on the increase in cost for Pros.

In the lending arena, I'd say @Don Konipol But overall, I'd say @Joshua Dorkin , both for creating this site and consistently sticking to it to provide such a great resource for others, and for our discussions about selling speakers and free events, which sparked our local group.
