Allysa, took me 10 years or so.There is no one moment that I would say I was the proudest.There was no turning point where everything changed.I guess the analogy is like that of the frog who fell to a warm pot of water that is slowly being heated.It took me hustle, hard work and consistent action.

They have voluntarily devalued their property over the years and they can’t pretend to now be business minded.I am “nice”, but I run a business and rents go up.

Simply put, if you are going to allow for the freedom that the US Constitution gives, you have to accept that some portion of the population will use that freedom to live in a manner that prevents them from being sheltered, either voluntarily or as a result of decisions freely made. 

For now, keep plugging along at your 9-5 and learning real estate on the side while growing that pot of money!

BUT, last time I tried this I learned that if they don't voluntarily move out AFTER a court order Eviction, you then go back to the courts to get a WRIT of Assistance to 'allow' the Sheriff to 'Assist' in the Eviction.

From the left, there is an argument that it drives up neighborhood prices (I happen to believe this/worry about it for certain zip codes) and for the right, there's a reticence to embrace change and, consequent, fear of pot smokers and partiers.
