And to Dave's point, it is true that those who are not "poor" and not "wealthy" tend to have the hardest time tax-wise, in that they are too wealthy to qualify for various tax breaks and the like, and too poor to get their interests really taken care of by the advantageous writing of the tax laws.I guess I'm a moderate, and that seems to make sense since I'm politically pretty progressive, and also, obviously, an investor for a living.

You may even get push back on having no experience unless you're buying a turn key hold.My best advice to a new investor:1) Open an LLC for Real Estate transaction2) Open an account at Experian and keep an eye on your credit and know where it is3) Save as much capital or if you have a wealthy sibling or family member and you never asked for anything and you were waiting for maybe the perfect joint venture then now is the time.
