I just installed 4 Kwikset Powerbolt with the Smart-Key technology on a duplex I just purchased.

I spoke with some big brokers and was put off by monthly technology fees.

And with technology ever evolving, this is a good refresher on what’s currently being used, what’s new, what’s working, and what’s not.

It just takes a little technology, a friendly title company, and the RMLS to locate these properties and create a mailing list.

Then I would meet them on weekend and try to sell them a house..I just want to mention that as I stated above this is my brokerage experience as a salesperson in 1960's, prior to franchising agencies, and agent teams and technology. 

Networking is important but with technology you can be more behind the scenes!

Now, times were different, that was 10-12 years ago and technology has changed a lot since then so things are easier.If you have the time, ability and the mental capacity to deal with difficult personalities (in case you get one here or there) then it may be okay. 

It was very interesting to see the different opinions surrounding that topic.A lot of forward thinking professionals welcomed this new technology, although still in it's infancy.

Most of these technologies are designed so that you never have to call them, which I can can imagine would be frustrating if it was cutting into your business. 

The technology with AirBnB is just so much better than the others from the guest's perspective too.
