Were you planning to outsource property management?

While I was working my W-2, she was out sourcing and selling properties 50-60 hours a week....I could never do that. 

250 per month for taxes insurance870 per month for mortgage=1120 per month1500-1120= $380However that doesn't account for money that should be set aside for vacancy, repairs and if you outsource the property management there will be an additional cost.Run those numbers and if they look good.

Can they easily be outsourced (I.T., call centers etc...) or are they jobs that have to be done by people in the flesh (healthcare).Also, are the jobs geographically or resourced based (oil and gas in Texas for instance)?

Also, has anyone ever outsourced the underwriting to a 3rd party?

I am looking for ways to outsource/automate this system for it easily consumes a large amount of our time.

And are the inspections performed by your property manager or are they outsourced to a third party?

But, on the opposite side of the spectrum, I wouldn't recommend using a PM company that has outsourced all operations to other companies.

People compensate themselves for their time, so it is simply part of the equation.2...Others try to control the time factor up front through preventative maintenance and careful tenant screening. 3...a lot of folks outsource the PM side, so it's a non-issue.4...The rest simply consider it a cost of doing business.
