I am in PCB as well, but my CPA won't believe me writing off a trip to Panama City, Panama, for "Real Estate."

Note that is 10 miles round trip.  

I don't understand how people are willing to drop $50K-100K or more on a property, but think that making a trip or 2 or 6 out to meet people and look at properties in person is too much of a hassle. 

After that they are often provided with a bus ticket to wherever they have family in the US (most do.)

You could raise your rates by $1 a night if you don't want it to impact your cashflow.As for linens not on beds: imagine a family packing for a vacation and cramming everything in a car, dealing with screaming kids on the trip, dealing with nightmare traffic and finally getting to the place and unpack all the crap. 

The $85 - $125 copay is the same you would pay for a trip charge by a local contractor. 

Secondary egress can trip up a lot of developers, especially if you are planning bedrooms in the rear of the building which most do.

My husband and I just made a trip down and toured a number of what seemed like attractive options, spanning neighborhoods including Avenida Balboa, Costa del Este, and Clayton (among others).

Pricing trips aboard vs domestic seems to come out on top that aboard destinations provide much more value.

If you didn't have an actual solution to give of how to contact out of state owners living in NYC without my having to take a trip, why comment at all?
