It just focuses on those people that missed out buying a home, even if it was for a minor amount, like the first couple in the article that got beat out by less than $10,000.  

I've looked into mobile/manufactured homes as an option but with lot rent it seems like it may not be worth it.

I mean I highly doubt( but sure there will be other who say otherwise just because) you will find a very good investment property listed on MLS or other publically available service.On a side note if I did have aprroximatley 400k equity in two of my homes could I use any of that to invest in another property?

Watch out for what gets deducted in home warranty or concessions but those will be in offers you accept.

I understand it become tad difficult to refinance since some lenders wouldn't lend on the home in trust, but is it easy to sell a home in a trust, just like you are buying in a trust?

well if I ever make it to the Smokies to see what the draw is  I will rent a condo then :)  I am just guess but I suspect folks that go there want to be in the woods and hear the birds and maybe some local mtn views etc.. or some sort of privacy they never get at home out east were there is not very much public lands close to where they live in the big city. ????

The term curb appeal is simply referring to the home's exterior being appealing, which doesn't have anything to do with plants or pots or items directly.
