In the meantime, I would like to keep my knowledge of my current profession fresh, and I believe I can maintain this by helping others within this site with any of their title questions and the like.

Ironically I've been to areas where property management is an unlicensed profession so your percentage on the lease option down may actually be perfectly legal.Your other pricing sounds about right though I pay $200 for tenant leads (though in my area rent runs around $600 a month).

Hi,I am a nursing student who is basically done with nursing, I used to have a passion for the profession but other life priorities have taken over and now I consider myself a business person.

This is the reason anyone goes into work everyday no matter what profession they have chosen.

Even if your degree has nothing to do with the profession you choose, it is a very valuable piece of paper.

These agents come from other professions where customer service and organization is not key to their past profession.The other half, experienced agents become jaded as well.

Not to pick on my own profession as an RE Agent but taking the real estate course, which is a great introduction to the subject, will only get you to undertsand how to sell or buy for others...not neccessarily for yourself.And by all means...ask as many questions as people have the interest in answering :wink:

Investing is a profession and doing it right takes a certain level of effort.Of course, the flip side is that without direct MLS data...the full data and not the watered down version off Realtor.com...it's harder to find your deals or do any sort of statistical research without paying an arm and a leg for the primary data.

Have you been employed in the same profession for at least 2 years?
