The caller ID shows contacts that are already in our CRM.  

I normally let all unknown callers go to voice mail, but if I do pick up I just politely decline and hang up. 

I’m not seeing great success with cold callers and or mailers.

If so, I think you should stick with the original tenants.If you do not, I would continue to show the unit, if the second caller submits an application and pass, rent it to them.  

Angry callers are one of the top things that discourage investors that send out direct mail.

Also, it will make it easier to track how many calls each is getting, including missed calls where the caller does not leave a message (btw, you can still call them back even if they just hung up w/o a message).That said, separate numbers are not necessary.
