It seems to me that despite the near-constant protests to the contrary from certain people in the dark recesses of the internet, the tendency of large countries with powerful militaries is that they do not collapse. 

Other real estate investors have also been very successful in areas such as Fayetteville and Moore County renting to military service members or even short term rentals supporting the PGA tour.

The military base is close by and it is a popular area for rentals.

I just retired from the military, and REI (specifically MHP's) is now one of the main things I am focused on as I move forward in my life.

I am looking at Spring Branch and west side of inner loop like Heights and Rice Military.

In the future, since you are active military and not always home, place cameras around your home, at the very least, so you can see what's going on when you are not there.

My neighbor is Puerto Rican and one of our customers is military and Puerto Rican.
