I don't see any to be found anymore in my area. Many counties and cities have taken a hard stance against it with fines and consider it trashing the look and appeal of the area. Some places you are better off paying someone to hold a sign at a high traffic intersection which in some areas is allowed because they are only there a few hours and then walk away with the sign. The person holding the sign can get the drivers attention at the stop light, stop sign, etc.We see the "we buy gold" signs frequently and the " do your taxes time " signs around here.

State RE laws may have a 1,000 pages but probably less as many have a paragraph as a page.Mortgage financing is in volumes, about 15 books of 3/400 pages each, laws are in the tens of thousands of pages and intertwined in federal law into areas that I didn't even dream of now, as an example, the Dodd-Frank Act intersects with the Department of Agriculture, Department of Defense, the EPA, Sec; of Labor, Education and Justice, the Dept. of the Treasury and many more.I certainly don't know it all, I'd say it's impossible for one person to be fully informed of all aspects of lending and mortgage activities.
