Is it worth adding a brighter color just on that trim to show it off?

Feels a lot brighter with the change from lots of brown to lots of white.As an aside, what is a good number of showings to have in the first two or three days after listing for this area?

Just shinning a flashlight on problem areas and realistic logistics of raising rents and only then getting a bank to give you a higher appraisal. 

Just keep flashlights and candles around?

Dust or replace bulbs with brighter ones. 

Hello, we just purchased a property and were hoping to get some ideas on kitchen reno - the goal is a lighter brighter space, with the same cabinets (they're high quality wood) that can be restained, and ideas for countertop/ backsplash.

Height of counter, height of everything matters, push bar rather than doorknob, have great smoke and carbon monoxide detector systems that flash lights and signal cell phone for a variety of disabilities.
