I just have not encountered this particular situation before, and was looking for suggestions. 

Any buyer purchasing as a primary residence will encounter the same timeline hurdle.  

I also talked to an investor I know and got some great feedback on the long term value of holding the MTR, versus selling it based on emotion and the sticker shock of a leak repair.

As a consequence, the charger operates at about 50% of its full capacity (but we figured some charge was better than nothing).Anyone adding a charger to an existing home may encounter the same limitations.Random note: our house was hit by lightning that fried one of the outdoor outlets and our computer equipment but the charger was unaffected (thankfully).
