My strong advice is to stay off the web when looking for a lender, Nicole.

But I am a devote ANTI Facebook person.My industry insists that I avoid social media and many of my peers have proven to me why.

We would ask them to look at our web site then they would call back with follow-up questions or to schedule a showing.

We are planning on going 50/50 and as she put it, she just wants to be a "silent partner" because she doesn't have a lot of time to devote to all the in's and out's involved with real estate. 

I want to have my own license moving forward, and there's not much information on the web on how to do this. 

You will learn a lot more, a lot more quickly, and a lot more reliably, than chipping away on a web forum where half-questions and half-answers seem to dominate - just the nature/drawback of the format.

Eventually I want to do everything through a web portal but I'm not there yet.
