With carrier crackdowns and a new election cycle coming up, I wonder how much longer people can continue to do cold texting. 

Venmo and Zelle haven't had a huge crackdown on this kind of behavior yet, but they could at any time.

Many people still do it and currently as long as your neighbors don't complain, Provo isn't likely to crack down on you (this could change at any time though). 

In Chicago no one even knows that City doesn’t allow Arbnb on investment MF, I am sure they will crack down in the future.
