I then get to enjoy the benefits of that relationship far into the future, thus reducing my efforts, frustration and stress.Of course, being "a dick" can also get you what you want, but it generally breeds frustration, requires you to continually work to build more relationships because you're constantly destroying the ones you have and causes stress that will ultimately lead to health problems and a reduced life span.Given that I dislike frustration, I'm lazy (as you pointed out earlier in the thread) and I want to live a long time, I tend to go the nice route...at least much of the time.But to each his own...GA for me is a far different playground that doesn't produce nearly the same results.

As i am venturing into this new world of real estate, i am quickly realizing the importance of building relations with people and I would like to make as many contacts and relations as i can in the field; I hope i can begin to do so through these forums as well as get help when i have uncertainties.

i am newbie here as well and read foucus on one topic at a time really read all you can in this forum and join real estate aasociation REI in your hometown and you meet people in the "know" I started last week and in the cal classroom i met mortgage brokers, new people learning the market like me. the seminar leader is nice and very knowledgeable. he met a president at a bank through networking and how beneficial to network with people in REI especially if your looking for reputable vendors.

My experience has shown me that I benefit a lot more when I approach them with the intention on HELPING them (not their credit) in any way I can. In

to my knowldege, you can't stall the proceedings before the auction usless you arrange payment.you can, in NC, stall the proceedings once the foreclosure goes to auction.

the solution to this problem is very simple and specific: we need 8 million people willing to work for a $1 a day in unimaginably bad conditions w/ no benefits and absolutely no rights and no birth control so they can breed more workers in just 5 years and 9 months.i think we could end the mfg job arguement altogether and send them all to other countries.

I am serious about learning and actually doing all I can in real estate.
