Account Closed In my experience, once you get burned a few times as a landlord, you develop your own "deal breaker" rules that you stick with as a policy. 

Just think about the worst damage a tenant can cause, such being liable for setting your rental house on fire or burning down your rental house and the neighbor's house, etc.

I’ve not been burned yet.

It doesn't happen all the time, but it only takes getting burned once to want to change your policy.

You can read all the opinions on these forums you want, but at the end of the day, you will find people who have been burned by syndications and others that are more than thrilled with their syndication investments.  

But still found it odd that they burn employee time for no water usage.

If you have the cash to burn for a 2nd home and actually love Seattle go for it.

Here in N CA folks can find property (not structures) that have burned up 😔

Food stamps, which poor people don't get ahead from the food companies do, and gives the US a population that is to fat to produce an Army. 

Especially since I was working with a lot of developers in Miami who wanted fat spreadsheets of 5 condo buildings in a market (each one could have 500+ units!).
