I ended up paying the squatters to leave because they were going to drag this out especially the prostitute with both her special needs children (no doubt that way because of her hard drug and alcohol use).

We had one tenant who we evicted as soon as we could as they weren't paying the rent and refused to talk to us...and yes they were getting benefits and decided to spend it on take out and alcohol instead of groceries and rent.

I am not lawyer... but I just gave "CAL CIV Code 1714" and it sure seems to talk about the rights of people who serve alcohol at events... nothing to do with landlords providing security.

The real problem is when people tap out or blow out their pipes, it gets little balls of resin (tar) in the carpet and has to be removed with rubbing alcohol.
