😳This is caused by a combination of buyers not being able to afford to buy with interest rates back up above 7%, and seller’s not wanting to budge on their sale price...a standoff.My guess is 2025 will likely be just like 2024 and 2023 if rates stay above 6%....

(Ironically, I'm sure a good portion of the people arguing against development are also upset with the government for not tackling the affordable housing issue.)If I were WIP and felt I just got cheated out of my right to develop that land, I would have put a fence around it.Â

I don't think we will be able to afford a 1.5M+ mortgage without a huge down payment (sale of our house).I feel this would be going backwards as we would focus on one property preventing us to do other things.
