The reason for these crashes is that in creating a backup for the site, the huge amount of space (partially due to #1 above) that was being zipped up and then written to our backup server took a huge load on our main BiggerPockets Application server.

is very slow and gives me errors often when i post replies.clicking on email notification can take up to 1-2 mins to load. replying sometimes gives me server overload error, and i have to retype the whole thing over again. posting a topic or a reply takes up to 1-2 mins, which is rather unusual for forum type websites.there are no images in the threads that slow it down, but it's just sluggish.and not my computer/connection, that's for sure. i am a semi computer geek, so i know what i am doing.
