I know you can't discriminate against race, religion, sex, handicap, LGBT, emotional support and service animals, now they are adding co-signers, lol. 

The federal government and state of Colorado have numerous rules and laws to protect tenants and home buyers from being discriminated against.Here's a description of the Fair Housing Act from HUD's website: "...as amended, prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents or legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing custody of children under the age of 18), and disability."

And before you say it, no...changing religions is not an option lol.Thoughts?

But unfortunately, in all likelihood you have no legal protection against it.Only certain kinds of discrimination, such as that based on race, ethnicity, religion, family status and disability are recognized as illegal.

But this should keep it brief for you:The 7 Federally Protected Classes are...Race, Color, Religion, National Origin, Sex, Disability, and Familial Status.You should check your State Laws as well to see if there are any additional protected classes.You should keep these in mind when making your decisions.

I would be very uncomfortable terminating the lease of a church, a place where many member of the community congregate on something as personal as religion. 

Perhaps there are rabbis or monks or mormon missionaries in the area that would do a bulk rental.

I also try to avoid conversations about politics and religion.

I have absolutely to bias against religion, it just seems a little bit mysterious.

Reason I don't like the iPhone is it's really one size fits all kind of device, and doesn't really offer much to entice me to join the Apple religion.
