(ultimately, we found out a well-meaning neighbor with a key entered the house to bring a fedex box in out of the rain and decided to 'explore' a bit...)- When the bathroom sink broke this week the PM acted like we were the worst people in the world for wanting to get the sink fixed.

Clearly this is a scam..don't send any money..this sounds to me like the rental scam where the "owner" claims to be out of country on business and then ask the potential renter to send deposit money and then the out of country owner will fed ex keys.

They allow partnerships who own planes as 1031 exchanges to move their interests in other planes without disqualifying their exchange I believe.
