Btw, if you plan to start a ROBS and you plan to hire any employees, keep in mind that one of the requirements of a ROBS business is that you give your employees an opportunity to buy-into the business -- this is because ROBS businesses are essentially just a loophole in ERISA law for employee-owned businesses.Last thing I'll say here -- Anyone that wants to go this route, go for it.

The challenge with leaning only on the umbrella policy or liability policies are that the insurance companies, if you can believe it (ha ha) have plenty of loopholes in policies to give them an out.

In theory I like the LLC stance as it allows me to create an investment property business, and I assume better tax loopholes as I rent and flip etc..Thanks In Advance for educated opinions.
