@Nik Corbaxhi I can see that, especially because a lot of the other options for that level of comfort are gurus, or other shady characters who demand payment or a cut of the deal for their "benevolent presence"

Now when I hire a PM, you bet I look at their online ratings, but more than that, how they manage their online presence.

You may want to price out getting it professionally removed at some point though - especially if you plan on selling the building as you typically have to disclose the presence of asbestos.

If you have regular payments coming in to your account from overseas and especially from a business that has no legal presence in the US they may arbitrarily freeze your accounts.Just a couple worse case scenarios.

They can give you an idea of what things you should pack, (family pictures, unique art, etc), and whether you can rearrange your furniture for the most welcoming presence or hire them to bring in staging furniture. 

There are some people who claim that their central nervous systems are effected by exposure to mold toxins (Stachybotrys toxins are the most commonly blamed culprit) but while there are TONS of anecdotal claims, there is virtually no scientific evidence that this occurs.Whether or not the presence of mold MUST be disclosed is usually an issue governed by a State's real estate board.I am from Texas.
