Your goal is going to take some time and your kids my be grown and gone before you reach it an can start providing those benefits, to them. 

I've grown up and have been in the northern VA/DC area my entire life however I do not have any hands-on experience with Maryland specifically.

I have a 3 bed, 3 bath house that we have grown out of and could just rent it out and buy another one, but it has a 1 acre lawn and a swimming pool and I worry about renting a large yard with a pool.What advice would anyone throw out?

We purchased $650k of assets as a resident and have grown that significantly since then. 

While, I had to sweeten the pot by telling her that I would hire someone to clean our house indefinitely if should would agree, we moved to the inner city - into one of the roughest parts (64127) I might add...Since we have moved here, our heart for the inner city and inner city development has grown, and we are seeing a huge need in Kansas City and throughout the United States for investors to come together and invest in affordable housing.  

All roads led me to dedicating myself to wholesaling as it's the vertical I enjoy the most in this industry of real estate I've grown to love.   

Could you maybe share briefly about how or whether your portfolio has grown since 2014 when you joined as well?

Hi Cameron, I have been operating furnished rentals for 4 years in Cincinnati, OH and have grown our portfolio to 26+ rentals so I've been through that phase. 

So, long story short, recently we have been shopping around for a Heloc because we have built some equity in the house and the market has grown in the area and I am looking to take action into real estate investing.
