Very family oriented area, with a great school district.

Because of our high tech oriented economy, real estate prices are driven by VC money and tech IPOs.

And sure as hell don't waste people's time and money telling them that they have an accepted offering and they start paying for BPO's, O&E's, etc only to pull the rug out from underneath of them and lie to them. 

I would sell the skills you have obtained in recruiting that would translate to property management - organization, detail oriented, sales, etcI would also look for roles with general contractors, finance (loans) & sales. 

I'm not really a go-to-meetings guy, but the Propelio meetup and the Roddy Roundup (which they renamed a couple years ago, and I don't remember what it is now) are the best ones I've visited, and that friends who are more group-oriented like.It doesn't look like you're a member of the DFW Real Estate Investment Facebook group.
