They're considerably more expensive if you're trying to do a home (vs one space) and the units mounted on the interior walls are not expected and considered obtrusive by some.I do think they'll become more common over time but while I've seen lots of them during international travel, I've never seen one installed here.

It would take me a day to cut the counter pieces and sink holes, a day to stain and poly and another day to install (pieces in place and get the sink and faucet placed)... the product held up well and still looks good, but you can’t have an under mount sink and it just turned into a time thing.

I'd be inclined to stay with my lever locks given how many STRs I've stayed in out east where the motorized deadbolts don't quite align and end up jamming, but I'm open to others' experiences in this space.

Spending most of my time saving and get my credit straight for my first investment and hit a wall.....just reviewing, reviewing, reviewing my "buy and hold" plan, until I couldn't anymore and then I hit a wall, until.....Listening to podcasts that are up my alley, even though im sure they are all very informative, I leaned something to keep the motor running, "What is the next ACTIONABLE thing I can do?"
