You may have to speak to them a few times before they make any changes.If that doesn't work, then you can call the Citizens Service Bureau and they will report the problem to the appropriate organization while you will remain anonymous.

Or pay for the full service screening from a credit bureau company like the one I used when I was a manager:http://www.cbacredit.com/Index.aspxI did not use them for their full service option, but, paying for a service that will check everything would be worth the money.

Last I looked for Rent Recovery Service 3 letters and a report to credit bureau cost $30 (this was probably just over a year ago so should not be too much high now).

You do not have to identify what that something was, but you do have to provide a standard reply of the credit bureau whose report it was and direct the applicant to the bureau's contact information should they want to see if there is something in their report that is incorrect.

Definitely look into ZUMPER.COM I use this for my personal rental properties - its a subsidiary of Experian the credit bureau.
