ok i may be bringing up an old post but im having a similar situation and i was wondering what everyone think of it. i do understand education is important and if i can, i'd rather stick to it. but hear my story out:im currently a 3rd year in college and i started out wanting to be a doctor so my major is science. a few months ago, i was introduced to the world of investing (stocks, real estate, etc) and after reading a lot of rich dad books and many stock books i have come to a realization. i want financial freedom. i want to work for myself and escape the rat race. to do so, i was gonna change my major to business to learn all the neccessary skills i need in building up my future business company and learning as much as i can about finance and economics. sadly, it's too late for me to switch major which brings me to my current problem. Why am i spending lots and lots of hours a week studying science when i won't even be using it?
