Going into a knife fight is like putting your hand through a fan blade and trying to pull it out without getting touched. So we train with the fact in mind that we do not want to get cut but accept the fact you will most likely get cut and that you have to get over it.There will be a person that lives and that dies and you have to make sure you are the one that lives.Of course if you can escape a situation without altercation or contact that is best and to talk them down. With the knife training you can also use red marker or a red paint that looks like blood etc.The goal is to get you seeing red (blood) without going into shock and shutting down.External weapons are good but your body is the best defense as it never leaves you.If you train with a gun or a weapon all the time but are in a venue where they do not allow those items then you are at a disadvantage. You can always look for items close by to use as weapons. You can also use objects that do not move such as smashing into walls, the ground, through a glass barrier etc.I have been attacked in the past so I know what it feels like.It happened a long time ago by a gang at the beach when we were on spring break as teens. It was 3 of us and 12 of them. They were going beach by beach in broad daylight trying to get money for drugs and assaulting people. They were not staying at any hotel so the cops never found them.Luckily I was just bruised and sore a little bit.

To tell you to look for hard money investors but dont tell you how and why you do those things. If success where certain and my mentor told me it would make me a successful investor to do 500 jumping jacks a day then do a back flip at the end of every 10 i would have very sore muscles!
