I read up a little about NC's interpretations of fair housing law about service animal and ESA here https://disabilityrightsnc.org....and seems like it's very pro tenant and ESA where if the LCSW is abusing his/her authority and the landlord has little say in it.Personally I like Airbnb's policy better, a service animal is trained to assist a specific disability and shall be reasonably accommodated.

By asking this question it tells me two things:1 - You don't know how to, or don't understand what you're analyzing, or how to interpret it.2 - You don't understand or know how the analysis relates to any strategies you know...or don't know any strategies.There are three things every successful REI must know/have:1 - The ability to analyze markets, not individual properties, markets.2 - How money works.3 - How to develop a REI Plan based on your SPECIFIC financial goals.

@Slocomb Reed, you can search numerous threads or Dodd Frank regulation, but what you will find can be summarized as followsDodd Frank Act, and administrative rulings by the Consumer Financial Protection Agency, are unbelievably numerous, hard to interpret, subject to subjective judgements, have harsh and draculon penalties for even small or inadvertent infractions, and cases are being pursued by trail attorneys both as individual cases and as part off class action.So, a lender set up to do a huge volume of personal mortgage loans may find the risk acceptable, the enormous investment in compliance and personnel and procedures a cost of doing business.Private lenders do not have the time, money, staff or risk tolerance to be in this market.

There are also some different classifications of 'foreign investors' so I would clarify with whatever group you look at how they would distinguish that on their end as their interpretation guidelines might even differ from lender to lender.Good luck, happy to help where I can.
