Attorneys do not just work on the purchase and sale but also can perform due diligence on a property, handle the title work and schedule B exceptions, entity formations for the buyer, review of the loan docs, etc.If they are at 5k for the purchase and sale and you do not even have it executed yet with no amendments 5k sounds awfully high.
