With a humble start as a couple folks in a diner, it has grown into an incredible monthly meetup at a local office with guest speakers every month, partnerships formed, deals done, and several new investors gaining confidence to do their first deals. 

If I sell it and pay capital gain tax, realtor fee, reconditioning the property and selling cost,  I probably gonna get net cash less than $295,000 I original paid.I’m a single female with 1 grown up daughter. 

This home gave us confidence to do more, and we have grown significantly since 2011!

Now my network has grown as well as my REI knowledge.

While we have grown our portfolio quite well (we are up to 19 rentals currently and reach Accredited Investor a few years ago) we still feel small, invest conservatively, and make good decisions every single time.

The property has grown by 3% quarterly since owning with a lot of upside since there is a housing shortage, and new units in the area can't be built for less than +$400K.

You can do the work yourself by following the requirements (you can’t just rock the entire yard.) but they do count fully grown coverage even when you’re buying plants/trees that won’t be there for 20 years.

It definitely has grown over the last decade. 

After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, and listening to the Bigger Pockets podcasts, I’ve grown intrigued by the idea of eventually becoming my own boss and potential wealth being spread amongst my family.
