hhmm... i'll mention that to him. will keep watching the post as well to see if anything else transpires. the place needs much work apparently, but the rent control has kinda been a hindrance in that capacity as well. friend's dad did not keep up with stuff so it slid. now everything is all out of proportion. ugh.
