How to remove rent control tenants

I'm interested in purchasing a property but it is under rent control in LA county and has tenants inside of it. How can I remove the tenants? Can you give tenants a 2 month notice to vacate?

If there rent is very low money will not likely get them out.

Make their tenancy miserable and hope they leave on their own. Do renovation/repair work on the property, give notices for lease violations, make regular inspections. Anything that would, over a period of time, convince them that they no longer want to live there. Plenty of ways but legally would be best.

Study your state landlord tenant regulations and find a loop hole. Best option would be to evict for personal use (close relative) if that is allowed.
