But I think your hourly rate may be such that the opportunity costs for you to be showing units, handling tenant issues, and shoveling sidewalks would be too high (and this from a die hard self managing fan).That is, you may want to focus on what you do best and most profitably: dentistry.

For me, I like that I don't have to worry about a roof (one two units under each roof in this development), siding, shoveling, mowing etc.Also it kept my rehab costs down bc I only had to worry about the inside.
