My personal credit is nearing 800, and our businesses have established relationships with several banks' commercial departments where all of the financial responsibilities have been met over time on our part, but I didn't know if ultimately, an entity could have an independent credit rating.I have an account at a local lumber yard that reports to Dunn and Bradstreet, but upon further research, Dunn and Bradstreet didn't appear to hold much weight from the brief digging that I did.  

One was 5 tons over weight!

Steve,I would recommend completing your profile, throwing up a picture and letting the community know a bit more about yourself to add some weight to your request.Sounds like a good opportunity for someone looking to learn the ropes. 

@Gary MontgomeryYour first year is going to be the most difficult because you will not have any tax returns as a SE investor, which is heavily weighted for bank underwriting. 

Also a couple of the burners won't light without holding a lighter to the gas.

Consolidation will just do a weighted average of your loans where refinancing you should be able to get a lower interest rate.

I'm determined to become successful and financially free, but feel as though if I keep hanging out with him it'll be like an anchor or at least extra weight that'll slow me down on the path I want to take in life.

That's the weighted interest rate of all your debt on that property if you take out a $300k 2nd at 7%.
