I have after tax dollars sitting in a stock brokerage account.So my choice is today, do I buy more stocks , or do I buy a good almost positive , currently negative cash flow property, in what I believe is the best market in the country.Northern Virginia is exploding with Jobs and population, the federal government is just spending money like a drunken sailor.I have to pick my poison, stocks or real estate. 90% of my current wealth is in stocks/cash right now.

It can always explode on you down the road.Get a good lawyer, a good RMLO, and document everything.Hell I am starting to video people's agreements like a deposition and 2 attorneys, just read into the iphone the agreement please!

I can see the wisdom in that.I'm hoping to meet with a locally recommended mortgage broker today to explore some options.Your comment on the Rogers area definitely has some truth...that region is exploding!

About 2 years later, the market exploded and it had almost doubled in value.

Then within the past 10 or 15 years, a few key areas have absolutely exploded with development, bringing in fancy shops and restaurants, nightlife, and housing.

Hopefully your business explodes from here on out!

While I agree with what @Nat Chan says about it being surrounded by high end real estate, I disagree that it will explode with redevelopment anytime soon.As @Robert G. says, it has been rough for a very long time.

The market in Buffalo has exploded in the last few years.

the entire glass globes can fill with water and when turned on the bulbs explode... been there...didn't know we had a leak till then in the kitchen, it had showed up in bedroom first..
