@Alexandre Marques dos Santos there is an emerging feature of select crypto currencies called “staking” wherein a buy-and-hold investor can earn interest on the portion they commit to holding (eg 32 ETH are required to earn money on the Ethereum network).

Long terms rentals will have repairs from time to time, but if it is a true emergency, you are going to be calling someone (eg plumber) to come in and fix something, so that is no different than your own home (minus the clean up).

I cycled through several PMs before landing on my best current option, which is a husband & wife caretaking team that deals with my cleanings, takes care of my pool, handles emergency issues, puts out the trash on Sunday night, and sets up and waits with various contractors when things need to be dealt with.

@Jason Guenther why not:1) Pay off unsecured debt of $552) Get a HELOC on primary for EMERGENCY purposes only.3) Buy a 2-4 unit and live in one unit, rent the rest.

Could be attempting to stack credit cards for a business, maybe they just want to have them for an emergency, maybe they know that applying for one is the same as applying for multiple if it’s within a certain time frame so they went ahead and applied to not ding their credit as much, etc etc The other thing about the job is something to look into though.

Along with the monthly HOA's, there is always the risk of assessments and these aren't always emergency repairs like cracked walkways, broken elevators etc.
