Change smoke detector batteries, new thermostat battery, replace furnace filter, look under all sinks, drain water heater once every year, look in the attic.

Also the one rule I remind them of is no grease and only TP down the drain. 

This is another avenue for the person touting the investment to drain money from the LPs. 

The plumbing was beyond strange;  the DWV ( drain-waste-vent ) piping was all 1 1/2 inch. 

Trying to avoid purchasing the park only to then have to replace 40 systems. 2)Any recommendations for DD (not spending $30k to drain and inspect them all). 3)Would our insurance help with replacement?

Also mold growth can become a bigger issue depending on extent of it.Also drain waste and vent lines can turn into larger expenses if corrections are needed.

You want a nice leveled off yard when you are done that will drain well. 

It costs the same to have a plumber snake a drain regardless of the value of the house.

I've been involved in 100s of deals and properties in these areas over the past 20 years.Vine City is starting to get a ton of money behind it...but I think a bunch will go down the drain as well.  

My partners and I only stick to limited service as we can avoid food and beverage outlets which are typically cash drains.
