What he says about active/passive investor sounds spot on and in line with what I posted about companies that have public stock like Ford in his example to be less likely and complex to pierce the corporate veil, vs., the small business person.

He is a good communicator and his youth is a plus as he probably won't fall down steps like Ford.

For some clarity on why you were told this, let's go ahead and go to the lowest common denominator: car sales lot.If you walk onto a Ford lot and say you want a car that fits characteristics X, Y, and Z, characteristics that ONLY Toyota includes in one vehicle, an average Ford salesman will just tell you it doesn't exist and invite you to take a look at the F-150 or Ford Focus.

The news of the investments in Ford will also mean good things for Windosr! 

I had younger couples where one spouse worked at U of M (Ann arbor) and the other at Ford (Dearborn).
