Which is maybe 10-15 steps to the parking area.I know other multi units will supply a shovel ( that is returned at end of lease) and one bag of salt per season.

I have chosen a few markets around the USA to begin with including Des Moines, Salt Lake City, and the beautiful Pacific Northwest (I know large area, refining based on potential relocation) to start with but trying not to limit myself at this point.

My experience is in residential, not commercial, so take my opinion with a big grain of salt.

Any judge worth their salt will jerk a knot in a landlord's rear end for such shannigans.

If you have a difficult tenant that is not happy you can either tell them you will let them out of their lease after the work is completed or simply tell them to pound salt.
