Here's why:Aluminum windows last the longest.Tempered or laminated glass are both stronger than plain annealed glass (laminated is just a tick more energy efficient).MUCH cheaper than good quality custom sized impact windows both in initial cost and replacement cost (I doubt that you will find exact fit factory replacements)Covering them with a permanent, crystal clear, UV filtering shutter will prolong the life of the window, eliminate water leaks and window maintenance.Permanent shutters don't break so there's no replacement cost and offer continuous protection whether you're home or away.Increases home resale valueIf you simply want to flip the place, go to a cheap PVC impact window supplier and get a list of standard sizes and modify your openings to fit.

I've been studying national and local market and wish I had a crystal ball.

I don't have a crystal ball, just an opinion like everyone else.

I would be working in the Crystal City area, but it seems the most affordable properties I've found are either NE D.C. or down around Indian Head* or Heights*.

I would make it crystal clear that because I operate a business, not a charity, they would need to go immediately unless they made their full rent payment on the first.

I went by there the other day and was thinking that water looked perfect for swimming... super blue and crystal clear.

I've been talking to people in the northern area of Pinellas county (Dundein, Crystal Beach, Tarpon) to get a feel the REI potential.

Become crystal clear as to your purpose and to the type of vehicle you want to invest in.  

No one has a crystal ball in regards to predicting the value of home prices in the future.Your next property can go up 20%, stay flat or even decrease in value.A lot of BP'ers are speculating we are at or near the top of the real estate market.
