You may have to pay a couple hundred $$, but it's well worth it..Bear in mind that an hour walk-though may or may not uncover everything that will be on the final Scope Of Work....so add 20% to the number that you get from the GC.You will need to do this quite a few times before you will be able to do it yourself, someone said you can after just one time, but that would be wrong.

Same goes for number of LLCs and what to fund them with, since bear in mind that CA tends to be more cumbersome and expensive to have LLCs than other states.California is generally more cumbersome than other states when it comes to taxes and filings.

Hey @Austin Wolff - You bring up some good points about knowing the house better than anyone when you build new if you are actively involved and onsite regularly, but I'd get behind @Jay Hinrichs, in the sense that the numbers don't always allow you to build new.Here in Chicago, new developments are super pricey, and even the BEST DEVELOPERS HAVE SLIM MARGINS.

. :)Green carpet baby the quality of fake grass has really gone up.. some of my clients in South side of Chicago are actually doing it so they dont get violations when the teannts wont mow the weeds.People have been telling me I need to learn to golf for years.
